When the turkeys don't cooperate, there's always something to fall back on...

One half-free, 5 blacks and the rest delectable "deliciousa" morels. These have now been consumed!

that is quite a find!! i bet they were tasty, i am jealous. i wish we had more morels here in ga.

You've got some awesome mushrooming potential in your neck of the woods. I went to NECI/Montpelier and we would forage grocery bags full of Morels, fiddle heads and ramps in the spring and some amazing Chantrelles in the fall. Happy hunting!

I mis mushroom hunting.... We used to get s few of those and the wife would cook them up with eggs, Dang I am missing them...
