Have any of you Silverttip owners out there ever used a thunderhorn Two Point takedown quiver on your bow? Do they work well? I'm looking at quivers for my soon to arrive new bow.
They are great. If I were you I'd get the smaller one though. I think they look better and add less weight to your bow.

I have the smaller one on my Mamba and I love it. It is the strap on for a one piece bow.
I have one on my tip as well. Thunderhorns are the only quivers I use.
I like the Thunderhorn best:

Eagle's flight Archery makes limb bolt quivers. Any of our quivers models is avaiable with the limb bolt option. We specialize in ultra-lite high quality bow quivers for 3 or 4 arrows.
This is an EFA Navajo X 4 arrow bow quiver.

My Selway slide on quiver, I've got one on each recurve.
I have all the above quivers, the Great Northern seems to be quiet and light and is my favorite. The arrows really stay put, I like that.
If I'm feeling in the mood for a bow-quiver, I put my Selway slide-on on; it is rock-solid and doesn't have any parts connecting the bottom and top to each other except for the bow, a look which I fancy.
However, these days, I find myself liking the looks and feel of a quiver-less bow, and so I try to use a back-quiver or side-quiver where possible.
I shoot a kanati quiver from annewakee archery on my longbow it is a very well made good looking quiver.John is a heck of a nice fella. I shot with him today and ordered a limb bolt quiver for my black widow.Hey,Ben Kleinig don't mean to sound dumb but what kinda critter is that in your picture?we ain't got them in North Carolina.
Preston,
You've got lots of them in NC--some driving on the roads and some in the barnyards ;)
We just can't hunt them here...
I thought it looked like a donkey but I wasn't sure.I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
We have many feral donkeys here; about 5 million.
Here's a 2 point on a Schafer I had. I like the Thunderhorns on a tip better than the others.
