Title: Choosing the right carbon arrow
Post by: Brad Bates on March 27, 2009, 02:46:00 PM
Hey guys! New to the forum and have recently taken up an interest in switching from a compound to a recurve.  I ordered a 62" take-down recurve kit from Bingham Archery Products and am eager to shoot now that I have finally completed the bow.  I will be pulling 58 lbs. at a 29 in. draw. ( I might reduce that down to 55). I also want to shoot an arrow that when fixed up weighs 550 grains. (All the research says you need to shoot an arrow that is 10 grains per pound of pull, right?)  What spine arrow should I start out with?  I had thought about Gold Tips.  Any suggestions?
