Well JonS( i can't spell your last name) ;) had a thread up a while back about some footed arrows he did. I thought that I would try it, but I made my own footing blanks out of cocobolo. They not only look good, but they added on average 80-90 grains up front. I had to drop my point weight accordingly, but they fly great and hit like a freight train. Thanks for lookin.

I shaped them with a hand plane. I've seen them done with a belt sander as well. Thanks Jake, how have you been? Other than getting ready for hogs :thumbsup:

Thanks for the comments. Pat the main shafting is Doug Fir, did make some with lodgepole pine as well.
