Very kind of you RC. If you know a kid sign them up. Can't think of a better mentor for a youngster to get started hunting with then the Georgia Swamp Hawg Slayer. :)
I have a youngster I am working with, but he isn't up to pulling 40# yet (8 yrs) so don't put my name in for your draw.
But what an excellent thing you are doing here.
David, all these kids around here are tote`n bows already.RC
got a 14 yr old bro Jacob who wants to shoot and I think might be able to pull that (if not will be a quick turn around.)
Pass it on, I salute you Sir. :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Vermonster13,
Please put my daughter Sarah in the drawing.
My daughter Sarah is 14 she is shooting a old 40# shakespere recurve right now, but the grip is to big. She likes longbows too.
I will post pics if she wins the longbow.
God Bless.

Hey Vermonster Please throw my son Andrew's name into the hat. He's ready to move up in bow weight. He'll be 12 May 7th.
Thank you for being so generous to everyone here and espeially to all the kids.
This is great that you are able to continue to hand out bows for kids.
Let me throw Andy my next door neighbor into the hat. He is age 14 and would make great use of a howard hill bow.
Brian Gillispie
David,
I have a buddy with a 14yr old son, Michael. He could use it, I got plenty of arrows to set him up with!
(By the way, finally got the Kabekona tuned and shooting straight, WOW)
Andy
I would like to add my nephew Cody into this. Normally I have bought him all of his bows but this year I just cant swing it. He just turned 13 this fall will be his first Michigan bow season and he dosent have a decent bow to get started with. He could have started last year but didnt get into hunters saftey in time.
I will throw my name in. I have a couple of kids on my after school archery team who I think would continue to shoot if they had a bow (we use the schools NASP bows so most do not have her own, or shoot outside of this team). I will Mention it to the students today and get a list.
I would like to put my kids in the hat please.
They would share it-

I have a little brother that is 12 years old. He has been shooting a compound for about a year now and really wants to shoot traditional. The other day he was shooting my old recurves left-handed (I shoot left-handed) and that is when i realized I need to find him a righty
I know a boy, Parker Smith 11 years old middle child, home schooled, absolutely loves archery.
Reason he hasn't shot lately? No arrows. I just gave him about a dozen arrows from my mismatched bucket. He's got a green fiberglass little sioux and is ready to move up to a "real" bow!
I'll promise pictures and the outgrown rule.
:clapper: :clapper:
11 year-old Parker Smith is the winner. PM me your address Larry.
There will be another bow for this age group put up on April first for entry so stay tuned folks.
I am deeply touched by the kindness and the generosity displayed by the members of the Tradgang! You guys are great! When I first read about Vermontster13's idea to give a bow to a youth I wanted to share this act of kindness with my family to let them know that there goodness in this world.
I'd like to "Thank" Vermontster13, RC, and Jacobsladder for their gift to Parker. Parker is a neat kid, he's respectful, he's soft spoken, he has always had a love for archery and we get out once in a while to shoot bows. But this bow is a significant event in his world. Not only will it be a special gift from Tradgang members, it will mark his coming of age to set forth and hunt and forage with a stickbow in hand, too cool guys!
So my part of this amazing gift is to follow through with the agreement that this bow will return back to Tradgang when Parker moves on to another bow. Furthermore, I will become more of a mentor for Parker as he becomes the archer and bowhunter he is destined to be.
Thanks again Tradgang! :clapper:
Don`t forget to send me an adress as well for the quiver.RC
Congrats from one Larry to another!
Congrats Parker!!
congrats larry!
Thats great
Congratulations Parker
Congradulations Parker :clapper:
