Anyone have any tips on taking paint off of fiberglass backed limbs?

Use acetone.

I would not use acetone.  Get one of the water soluble strippers and start with that.  You could try the acetone for later clean up, but don't leave it sit.

Depends on the paint type. I've had good luck with WD-40 and a scotch brite.

I'll second the WD-40 and scotch brite (green pads).  Paint thinner works as well.  Water soluble stripper sounds like an interesting possbility, but I've never tried it.  Personally, I don't use acetone for anything except as a "nothing to lose" last resort solution anymore; it's eaten too many projects on me.
