I got an email notice to today saying I had a PM from tradgang. I thought that was funny since I've not posted anything for several months. The member here just wanted to check that everything was o.k. since he hadn't seen me post much lately. That'll make a guy feel alright
I've looked into the gang one or twice a month but only briefly. Wish I could do so more often. If any of you can look back on a "season" in your life where you seemed to run around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to keep way too many irons in the fire you'll understand what I've been up to. With school ending (and graduation) around the corner things ought to slow down soon. Even then I'll be on the farm and it'll be planting season...but even that has a sort of calm about it. You wake up, work, eat, work, clean up, eat, spend an hour milling around the house, go to bed and repeat. For me there's calm in routine and 75-85hr weeks on the farm have their own kind of routine.
Not been shooting the bow much, but hope to get back on that. There's no way I'm going back to the wheels. I'm just swamped right now.
...so there you have it...an update on "that kid that use to post here a lot". :D
I'm staying around the home and farm for a least a year so I hope to have some good turkey and coyote stories for you all in the future. Hopefully some of them will end with a red arrow!!!
TG is a great place to come and visit sometimes just to forget about the everyday world we live in too.Good to see ya back.Hang in there things will get better.bowdoc

It's a shame life gets in the way of our fun. Visit when you can.

Nice. Thanks for checking in. I know this place is just too cool to stay away from for long. Best cyber gang I've ever known, and I've met a few of you in person and know it aint just online goodness.
I wondered where you had been.... :saywhat:
Take two deep breaths and shoot your bow in the morning.
Set your bow by the door. I cant walk by mine too many times, before Im fiddlin with it!! Even if its just two or three arras on my way out.
Welcome Home!
That "calm" you describe through a routine, might actually be "satisfaction" in knowing you are doing the right thing. Protect it and nurture it.
You started this thread with the title "Not that I`m very important", but I say because you are working hard it makes you of the utmost importance!
Well said,Bonebuster.
Chuck
dont be a stranger.
wondered where you'd been! dont work to hard now :campfire:
Work hard, play harder!
Well,Im about to start work 10-14hrs./day 7days/wk soon untile the end of Sept.and shooting the bow is hard to do when you come in and all you want is a bath, food and bed till the next day when it starts over!I guess I'll see if Im missed? When your so tired it's hard to think of what your name is, the last thing you want to do is pick up the ole bow even if you want too!!!
TG- A great bunch of people who look out for each other in times of need. Mike
