I have not been on here for awhile, but several of you helped me learn the ins and outs of trad last spring.
I am currently looking for a place to hunt Javelina in Texas somewhere within 2 hours of San Antonio.
If you have info on a spot, please let me know.
Thanks,
Paul
Contact Curtis of 7th Age. He's the best. Even I was able to get a couple...
Thanks I just tried to send him a messae via the website but it didn't go through.
I will call him for sure.
Contact 7th age Bowhunting Curtis is a sponsor here iv killed 4 javi's with him now!
if not travel a little farther and go down to sierra blance and hunt with kent osteram of maskha custom bows top notch guy and i know there are javies there and it is a cheap hunt
I went with Fair chase LTD last year and took a hog and a havelina and missed two others. They have a great place. fairchaseltd@aol.com good luck.
7th Age is the place to go! Curtis will look after ya 1st class and bring lots of arras.
You can always find a day lease in Hondo or Sabinal and in some cases those farmers will pay you to kill 'em
Another vote for Curtis
Just don't spend a lot of money on them (javelina, that is), as most landowners consider them absolute vermin.
Still looking for a Javelina hunt at the end of April or first of May.
7th Age stops hunting Javis in February, so I am out of luck there for this year.
Curtis seems like a great guy to deal with and I will probably book with him next year.

Curtis at 7th Age = a great Havie hunt
Check out Ken Burton. I just finished there and got two. His place is south of Ft. Stockton.

I was on the Bowyer's Journal hunt in Laredo two years ago. We were hunting with Pedernal on the Laguna Ranch. It was awesome, 15 hunters took 16 Javies and a hog. I saw over 50 javelina per day and had numerous stalks. I shot 2 with my longbow on the last day just a few seconds apart. The lodging and food were great too.
