This class sounds like a bargan to me. I've seen Rod shoot!
This sounds awesome. I may have to look into this. Is it 9-5 both days Friday and Saturday?
As one of Rod's students, I give him an A+. Even though he was hard on me at times. LOL:)
He doesn't try to mold you into a clone, he tries to make you find YOUR shot. I am a much better archer thanks to Rod's instruction.
Too cool! Thanks to Rod Juli out shoots the heck out of me! :) ...O.L.
It is at times like this I wish I lived out East!!
Rod, you ought to come out west and get out of the snow. I'm sure Bjorn, his son, myself and lot of others would take good care of you and have some fun!
Bjorn and snag are right...take this on the road to the West.
We want to be as good as you folks back East.
I'm really excited and looking forward to the clinic!
Bjorn, snag and BH......I'd love to "head west"...just find a place to shoot, get some guy's together, and I'm there!

You need a geography lesson - Michigan isn't East......(dang it :banghead: )
How many do you need to attend to make it worthwhile for your expenses and time?
Come on Bob you know it's east for some folks hahahahahahaha
All this time I thought the Mississippi River was the dividing line for east and west... ;)
Great news!
Kind of short notice for me. Are you guys planning any more in the future? I'd love to attend one.
Rod, I recall asking you to come out west for a shooting clinic a couple years ago. Now I see you're bunkin' up with those A & H guys in of all places; MICHIGAN! They got big skeeters in Michigan and April still shows 2 feet of snow over there.....
You can do better than A & H Rod?????
:knothead:
And those bows shoot funny......Come out west brother.....
Least anyone get the wrong idea from the above thread post, I'm a big fan of A & H bows, in that I own 2 or three of em.
No harm, no foul; John and Larry just pullin yer tails.....
:notworthy:
Hows my riser comin?
A S...sorry for the short notice...hopefully we can eventually do 2 a year at A&H, but nothing concrete yet.
Mike, yeah I remember and I do hope to get together a clinic out west....cause I want to see those twin girls of yours shoot!
That sounds awesome Rod. I'll keep watch for upcoming ones......hopefully!
Wish I could make it also, would be worth the price of admission just to catch up with everyone!
I don't think anyone attending Rod's shooting clinic will be disappointed. With Rod's help and coaching last spring (and a lot of hard work), I'm shooting better than I ever dreamed.
Thanks Rod for helping put the fun back into shooting.
I was just responding to Snag's PM about a west coast Rod Jenkins clinic shoot to spread around Rod's talents. I was thinking about merging Rod's clinic a few days before the next year's Tejon Ranch hog hunt.
Least I hijack Dan Palma's thread if there's any interest in a West Coast clinic/shoot with Rod at the driver's seat, please PM myself or Snag to discuss the matter. If we get interest I'll throw out our own thread on the Pow-Wow.
Dan and Rod, good luck with your event
I just changed jobs to work with a friend and we have a 40 yard indoor archery range in the basement! I could host the lessons in San Diego if we could pull it together! :jumper:
Would this include arrow tuning? Please put me in, and let me know where to send my deposit.
Thanks, Mike Gerard owlbait
Wish I had the time and money. Always good to learn from an experienced coach. After talking with Rod you know he is.
Hope everyone who goes has a good time. I'm sure you'll all come away better shooters.
Chris
Owlbait........yes the clinic will include tuning.....Once you establish repeatable form,it's suprising just how simple tuning cab be.
Contact A&H for reservations
Thanks Rod.
I've been looking forward to this class since I heard rumblings about it at Kalamazoo.
Unfortunately, I've got an Iowa NR turkey tag and that is the only weekend it is good for :banghead: .
Turkeys over Rod...hmmmm, turkeys can wait Steve! Take advantage of this great opportunity and you will be able to go out and shoot more turkeys later... ;)
Nothing personal :saywhat: just a lot of cash tied up on the turkeys...
Let's fill up this class, I need the help :bigsmyl:
You won't be disappointed with Rod's coaching. His solid shooting information is helping a lot of archers understand their own shot sequence so they can control their shot. Rod not only teaches it, he does it!
It's a bit far for me, but a person would probably get more good out of this clinic that a lifetime of self taught methods could provide..
If I had the ability, I'd drop anything and everything to capitalize on this opportunity..
Even though I'm sorta involved with the school I'm going to participate as a student because I need all the help I can get. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
Hmmm...wonder what kind of bow John will be shooting ? :D
Thanks guy's!
I'm in.
CJ
Doesn't John shoot a Fox Longbow? Or am I thinking of another John H?
There's no telling what I might shoot from day to day Larry! Never shooting the same bow two days in a row is tough on consistency (assuming I ever had any consistency to begin with!!).
I was watching Rod shoot at Kalamazoo and it sure wasn't a an ACS he was stacking arrows with so I guess John fool around with other bows to.
One thing about the class I'd like to ask, is this about gap shooting and using 3 under on the string or improving the way you currently shoot?
CJ

CJ...my coaching is all about improving your shooting....and helping folks find the way they personally shoot best, with emphasis on building a foundation for better shooting and the mental side of archery....how anyone aims or places their fingers on the string is a personal choice.
Rod, PM sent about clinic and arrows.
Mike Gerard owlbait
Need to make this happen in the northeast.
Your not too terribly far from me Rod. Do you attend any ASTB shoots?
LBK...I used to make all the ASTB shoots and won the state a few years in a row, but the last few years with shooting on a national level and other related activities I've been tied up...hopefully I'll have free weekend and make the Children's Hospital shoot next month.
We now have a curriculum posted at our web site.
Thanks

To the top. We still have a few openings for Rod's class. This will be great fun and an excellent learning experience, so let's get this thing filled up!
I would love to do it but the cost added to missing a day of work is just a little to much for me right now. Have fun guys should be a great time.
Hey Tim,
sorry you won't be able to join us. What about you northern Indiana folks??
