I thought Gold Tips are made in the USA.  At least the ones I have are.  They tried making them in Mexico, but ended up bringing them back to the US.

Carbon Tech is in the process of shipping their equipment overseas to have them made.  Just heard that the other day.  Sad news indead, they are a great shaft.

3Rivers's Traditional Only shafts are made by Easton right here in the United States.  Arrow Dynamics also is made here in the US too.  Don't know if there are any others still, but I am positive of those two. dino

I decided a couple of weeks ago to do just what bayoulongbowman said and am going all wood this year and USA made products as much as I can.  Nothing against our neighbors and friends, just want to help US products.

Easton/Beman shafts are apparently made in this country. Depending on where you look, you can usually get raw shafts from $40/dozen for black to $60/dozen for wood grain.

Victory arrows are American made, but they only make light shafts. They use to be a sub contracted company for GT.

Victory shafts are made in my home town of San Diego. I just switched over to them to support the cause. It helps when it is a great product, excellent spine consistency.

As mentioned Easton makes their shafts here.  In fact they prefer it that way so they can maintain better quality control.

On one of the episodes of Easton Bowhunting with Fred Eichler they went through the shaft manufacturing plant in Utah.  Good stuff.

What am I missing?   What carbons are at Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot?

Large % of the goods at those stores and many others are Chinese and or imports. Just wondering if those who want to buy only American arrows apply the same criteria to all purchases.
If not, why not?

I shop for quality and price with place of manufacture last. I am far from alone - and see a lot of trad posters talk about buying all kinds of stuff at Walmart - just curious as to why arrows are different.

Beman ICS are made in Utah. Most of the better arrows made by Easton are USA. Older GTs were made in the US, you can still find some with the flags if you look around. Just keep asking for USA products, it helps.
This computer was made by Micron in Idaho out of mostly USA parts in 02. It bought it on ***** just so I could say that.
