I have a question, as a newb back quiver user.
I shoot RH, but I wear my quiver on my back as a LH shooter would. I just find it easier to access the arrows, that way.
I suppose there's no "right" or "wrong' way, but I thought I might be missing something.
The issue I have (small, admittedly) is re-loading the quiver from the top side (utilizing it the way I do).
How do you do it?
Thanks,
Jeff
I put the arrows into my Arrow Master from the bottom.
OK...but still ....I'm a RH shooter.....and my bow's in my left hand. Do you wear yours (if you're rh) with the top over your left or right shoulder?
Believe me....if there's a "better" way, I'm all ears! But it makes sense, to me, to reach for an arrow with my right hand.....and keep my bow in my left hand. To do this, I have to wear it "top - over my left shoulder).
GMMAT,
Top is over the right shoulder normally for right-handed shooter. You can get used to reaching up and rolling your shoulder in toward your reaching right hand if you practice.
The Arrowmaster is normally worn along your right side with the arrow opening near your belt-line. It's easy to take arrows out and put them back with the quiver riding there.
Do you already have an Arrowmaster? If you try that I think you'll like it.
I have one and use it quite often. Very good design.

I do have one. Rod was really good to work with.......and customized it with an inscription for me. I DO love the quiver.
I'll try it "your way"...lol. I'm not making light, I promise! I'm the one doing it all "unconventional".
To be honest, though....the way I've been doing it feels great. is there an advantage to doing it the "other" way....or a disadvantage to "mine"?
Thanks!
I load my Arrow Master from the bottom also, but it can be load through the top easily by sliding the quiver to your side or like Todd mentioned.
Here's a clip of one RH shooter using the Arrow Master...of course you can wear it in any position you like and develop your own methods.

I wear mine across my back like a back quiver. The top is at my left shoulder and the bottom hole is near my belt line on my right side. The reason behind this is if I am hunting or stalking I dont want to be fussing to get an arrow out of the quiver. This way all I need to do is reach back with my right hand and grab an arrow and slide it down and out. A lot less movement that way. Then to reload I do the same. I reach back with my right hand and slide the arrow up from the bottom.
Rod and I were posting at the same time. Also look at this thread below. I wear my just like Denny is wearing his in the pictures.

Thanks, guys. That's exactly how I wear mine.
I'm watching Dean Torgas (Masters of the Barebow) right now, and he does the same thing with a similarly styled quiver.
Thanks, again.
I wear my quiver that way also. When I want an arrow or go through thick stuff I slide it down under my right arm to take out or put in an arrow through the bottom hole.
That's the way I wear my quivers too... load and unload through the bottom hole.
As Tim mentioned above, the top is at your left shoulder with the opening at your bottom right.

I used the quiver with a large backpack and it rides well with the top nearer the right shoulder. I also love the quiver's convenient pouch which easily holds water, apple, snack bar, license and other small incidentals.
It's a great quiver!... too bad it's not available in ASAT camo?

If you can find the materials, hell make you one out of ASAT, now!
I tried. No dice (finding materials).
