I got a chance to go by Bob Sarrels shop and pick up my new longbow. This is my 4th Sarrels bow but the first time I have had the pleasure of meeting him in person. I only wish I could have stayed a while longer. Anyway, the bow is one of his more popular one piece longbow designs, the Superstition. My bow is 62" and 50#@28". The riser is Texas Ebony with a strip of red phenolic and the limbs are Zebrawood over a bamboo core with a red stripe running the length of the bow. Not only is it beautiful but it shoots great. I have tried 3 different shafts through it and it shot them all well. I can't wait to get one fine tuned. Here are a few pics I took on a quick "walk-about" along the banks of Brushy Creek in central Texas. No rabbits or squirrels were harmed but I can't say the same for a few cottonwood stumps! Enjoy.

Nice looking bow!
I have a take-down LB with snake skins from Bob...just a super bow from one knock to the next!!
I love them. They fit me well and shoot great. So far I have owned a Sierra, a Teton, and now a Superstition...they are ALL shooters!!! Oh and the recurves ain't bad either...I love my Wildcatt.
Heard nothing but good things about them. Good luck with it.
that's a Beauty!

Looks like it has a profile similar to the Howard Hill Badger so therefore, she's got to be a good shooter :-)!
Sweet looking bow!
