Title: Aluminum arrow straightner?
Post by: elbow on March 23, 2009, 01:47:00 PM
Does anyone make a device to straighten aluminum shafts that have been bent?

They do make them. Most big archery dealers sell them. Made by Arizona, Apple, Grayling, Pineridge, and Ram archery companies and others.
I have one that I've used for about 30 years and it works great. But it no longer has manufactures name on it. They are all pretty much made the same.
Have seen them on the big auction site, search arrow straightener.

Elbow,go to F-S archery and look up arrow straightners,I got one of the Vadors there(cheapest!) and it works probably as good as the more expensive ones. You have to play with it but you should be able to catch on quik.It will get them back almost to factory specs unless its kinked or bent close to the ends.
