Title: Epoxy for internal footing carbon arrows?
Post by: Douglas DuRant on March 21, 2009, 10:09:00 AM
Mr Adcock, or anyone else, I am wondering what would be a good epoxy to use for installing a hardwood internal footing into a goldtip carbon arrow?

I am looking forward to no longer driving my inserts into the shaft when hitting something hard. I am very impressed with how this kept the arrows from being destroyed when shot into 1/2 metal plating. I figure this aught to help keep my arrows intact when stump shooting.

Thanks, I read the answer already from you OL so thanks again. You and Dr Asbey are super!!!!

Doug,  I would use the slow set stuff, 24hr. I use it for my external footing and it works best. Shawn
