The few times I use a bowquiver, I found the larger Snuffers, Pearson Deadheads and the 3:1 ratio Schulz Hunter heads never fit deep enough into the hood. My concern was either me or someone else cutting themselves on the razor sharp heads.
So I cut off a piece of leather strap from a backquiver and glued on a "skirt". Now all the heads are shielded for protection. A few pics below from the backside of the quiver.

Good idea Joe!
joe,you need a job.
Sure wish you lived closer Joe. The two of us could be real busy doctoring up and improving my hunting gear. You are wealth of knowledge. Thanks for posting some of your ideas.
So where's the old back quiver? 8^).
I found on my great northern quiver that I took that plastic piece out and the broadheads would go in further. Have noticed that some arrows will slide back down occassionally, but only after many many shots
