Hey all,
Getting antsy and pumped up for my hunt with "Elkherder" this fall. Started making up some arrows last night. Figured I might be able to use them as an SOS signal if I get lost :bigsmyl:

CX Heritage 250's cut 29"; 100 gr, brass insert and 150 gr. Magnus Stinger 4 bld. and 5" shield feathers. Never used the wraps before---thought I'd try a couple and see how they turn out!

after going throug an elk! This is just about the exact set up as yours just with Rebels instead of Heritage shafts.

I went to Colorado last fall, and
only saw one cow.
Both arrows look good,
clean, and bloddy.

have faith little buddy...only worry you are gonna have is aspirin from a sore neck watchin all the bulls runnin around when i work the magic on em.. :readit: lol...trust me you'll see action...maybe a little closer than you can handle. lol...
ohhhhh....as far as getting lost goes,i carry two gps and a compass for backup and we will be camped in a bowl so keep goin downhill and you got it made.....lol.....have no fear ben i'll keep ya safe.
had to say this...if you shoot an arrow up in the air up in the caps the only one who'll see it is bigfoot....hahahaha :D :D :D

Alrighty then, some more elk medicine
AD hammerheads 30" Brass insert, 225 grain snuffer and 245 gr Eclipse. Come this september they will likely all carry 260 gr snuffers this year...

Got the arrows from Ted, the Bow here in the classifieds and you'll have to get to know me real well to find out where that bull came from...:-)

yup....the bears up there fear nothing...not used to people being around so they think your'e just another critter.have no fear though i'll be packin my s.w. 500 mag any bear gets to stupid i'll have a showdown with him. :readit:

They just ammended that... it's ok to carry a sidearm durring archery season as of 2009.
