Title: Finsh on carbons ?
Post by: daveycrockett on March 16, 2009, 10:39:00 PM
Anybody know how durable the finish is on the Traditional Only ICS shafts 3-Rivers is selling? I know the old Classic ICS shafts it wasn't to good.I guess the MFX Classic would have the same finish, anybody comment on those?

The finish on my Beman MFX shafts is pretty good, but not great and I definitely have some wear on the target shafts I shoot most often, plus the finish is rough in some spots, not that happy with it, but still better then some others I Have tried.  Really like the original slick finish on the 1st run Axis and Beman arrows, it was smooth and slick!

I concur with Mark.

You'll get some target wear, and eventually they look footed.

Think I'll just shoot the black ones.

Since the Trad Only's are made by Easton/Beman.  I would say it is the same.
