Awesome, good job on the cresting! Looks like you had a great day in the woods! I might have to give the Bannock a try one of these days!

We used to do those in Australia and call them "dough boys". If you wrap the bread so it is touching it slides off the stick when done and has a tube down the middle. if you wrapped over the end of the stick it makes a great pouch to pour honey or jelly or just about anything you want into it.
Looks like a great day out. i think I will head out for some time in the woods myself today.
Awesome arrows! What a great day.
Here are some pics of my homemade hat for those who wanted to know what kind of hat I was wearing. It is just a polar fleece tube and top.Very easy to make!It looks good and very trad!!!

in aussie we call it damper. even simpler recipe.
*self raising flour or plain flour with baking soda.
*pinch of salt
*water, or milk, or beer. (beer is good, acts as a levener)
mix together to a dough. minimal kneading.
though it straight in the coals and cover, or
place in a floured camp oven and cover in coals, or
cook on a stick as shown earlier with the bannock.
the best with butter and golden syrup!!
should turn out like this
