Title: Help with arrows again PLEASE
Post by: cnorth on March 12, 2009, 08:29:00 PM
.Ok, here is what I have:51 lbs @28, I am drawing right at 28" . My broadheads are flying to left, so I put another 50gr weight on insert.  This brought my arrows back on the money.  However this makes 3, 50 gr weights on insert with a 125 gr head.  I have cut my arrows too short which made them to stiff until I added the last 50 gr.  My question is, would I be better to keep all the weights or get some more arrows, and drop down on weights. I don't mind going ahead and buying new ones if needed. I am currently shooting GT 55 75.  Would I be better to swap to the 35 55 or go back with the 55 75 ?  Thanks for all the info ahead of time.Sorry for all the questions, I have only been 100% trad for about 6 weeks now. Hope all is well, GOD BLESS!!!!!!

My standard set-up is with 250gr up front. The front weight gives you a higher FOC which, from everything I have been reading on this site, is always good.

Doesn't sound like it's broken too me.  The higher point weight and FOC is a good thing.  Most of us are in the 250 gr or more up front on carbons these days.
