Ed Scott with his eleventh hour javie and Shawn Williams with his first bow kill-Shawn had his bow for less than 24 hours before bagging his Javie. (http://***********.bowsite.com/tf/pics/00small26229315.JPG)

Me with the first blooding of my Owl Oryx. (http://***********.bowsite.com/tf/pics/00small58507045.JPG)
Y'all sure have some beautiful bows
The picture with Ed Scott and Shawn Williams, what make, kind of bow is thatT. It's beautiful. Is it a Oryx?
Yes it is an Owl Oryx. That one is set up for either left or right and has a grip made of Coyote rawhide and Coyote fur string silencers -both taken from a coyote that Shawn took with a rifle last year.
Nice pics...looks like y'all had a great hunt...thanks for sharing.
looks like a blast.....congrats
Very cool! And, you sure have good-lookin' bows!
Good goin' fellas. Congrats.
Life's to short to shoot an ugly bow.
Mike Yancey
Very nice! Well done guys!
Love all the primitive bows.
I'm jealous.
I get to go in a couple of weeks. Hope to have as much success as you did. Where were you hunting?
QuoteWhere were you hunting?
I'd like to know that too.
OOh Rah!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome looking bows.
Jim and Night Wing, near Marfa Tx.
You guys are just talking about how pretty the bows are because Charles was shooting his Black Widow. ;)
Great stuff!
luckieeee fellows. The Javelia was made for traditional bow hunting!
Good to see Ed shooting the crafts he makes. Treeman, nice looking bow, now who would have thought that such a short bow would shoot that good-(excepting Ed, of course)?
Skip, I agree-Javalina are perfect for bowhunting. My Oryx is 52" NtN ,45Lb @ 28" and it doesn't stack.....but it is too short for me to consider it ideal. (Fingerpinch tends to open my groups.) Still it is a fun bow and well suited to tight quarters. Being horn and sinew it gains weight when cold so it is 45@ about 23"-24" at 35 degrees-just right for YOU. :biglaugh:
Justin, looks like you guys had a great hunt.
that bow of yours is beautiful!
Congrats on the ranch rats. Those little flea bitten critters sure are fun to hunt!

Smallwood, I suspect that you are referring to Mike's bow in the first pic. I like my Oryx but it isn't shown off particularly well in my pic.
BTW Howdy neighbor.
I love this stuff
JB
