Which glue or epoxy have you guys found to work best for installing inserts and putting BHs on adapters? I've used Fletch-Tite Platinum on pretty much everything and it works great, but some of the inserts have been popping out of my carbons and it's a real pain. I was thinking about trying some of the epoxy that takes 24 hours to dry.
Tell me what ya think.
Thanks
Zack
Ive been using Gorrila Glue for a while now and havnt lost any inserts, cheap and you can get it at Wally world. its also heat reversible.
Thanks champ
The best glue I have found for inserts in carbon is Easton HIT glue. It is only for inserts but it is some awesome stuff.
Zach, I really like Goat Tuff glue. You can buy it from Kustom King. I have never had this stuff fail on my and I use it for everything.
A two part epoxy works great, and it is heat reversible. Make sure to scuff up and clean out, the inside of the shaft before gluing.
i'd never anything less than slow set epoxy for inserts into shafts and adapters into points.
Yep hard to beat good old "2-ton" slow set epoxy for strength and durability. I went to some of the new and improved glues but didn't have the results I expected when Broadheads came off or inserts out on game animals. So back to epoxy I went and back to total confidence.

What brand is it you use Wingnut?
Devcon 2 ton epoxy

I've been using gorilla glue lately and have not lost any inserts.
I had problems with inserts coming out. I used about everything on the market, including Grilla. Finally went to Gold Tip and have not had one come out since.
I have to agree with wingnut on this. Devcon 2 ton epoxy is hard to beat. JD
In 3 years of using carbons exclusively I've not had one failure using J-B Weld..
It's a very rare day when I don't shoot..
