Any recommendations on how to make a deer bent 2117 straight again?
I'd say it has about a 10° bend in the middle.
Is this even a realistic request, or should I just leave it on the wall?
Aluminium arrows are the easiest to straighten. I have a home built straightener with a dial indicator. But you can just look down the shaft and bend back over the palm of your hand. You'll have to over bend slightly to get it straight. With this metyhod you'll get it straight enough for practice or stumping.

I have straightened a lot of aluminum shafts in the course of 30 plus years. I use a sheet of 1/4" plate glass and an AD-500 straightening tool(looks like a pair of pliers). It took a few shafts to get a real feel for it, but with some patience you can get them back to 99.9%
I tried different ones before I settled on this method and it won't break the bank. Straighten 6 shafts and its paid for.
I got an arrow straightner from Lancaster or F-S (the cheapest one) with a dial indicator and it will put them back almost to to factory specs if you play with it enough and take the time on it.I have had it about 2 months and its paid for itself allready! Bends close to the ends are hard to get out and if theres a kink its done for but so far its worked good. Also you can spin test your points and heads. Its made by "Vador"
