Man I really love this bow - it just shoots so fast and points so well. As said before the hand is so close to the shelf that one cannot help but drive tacks with this baby.
As promised in my earler thread I went out to the archery range today to have a proper shoot of this legendary bow. It had poured with rain most of the day but I managed to get a dry spell in the afternoon. I got covered in leaches for my trouble and had to pull so many off my legs I lost count.
The bow is not as quiet as I first imagined so will have to put some sort of silencing mechanism on the string - it is a bit twangy at the moment - but not a noisy bow by any means.
The target with the Fox was 29 metres - I just whacked three quick arrows into it and that was what I got. You can see when I do my part this baby is awesome.
The one with the two deer is shooting uphill about 30 metres. I did not quite nail the one on the right but I had a good go.
Thanks for all the input into buying this bow from all the Predator lovers out there - you encouraged me to take the leap. It was certainly worth it.
Mike can you please put up my picks (as usual) still haven't figured it out!#$%^&

sorry - double post!
Oh lads - I forgot the important part. She is 60", R/H (0f course), 45# @ 28. At my draw it is shooting just on 48#.
It is a very fast bow so I think I am close enough to the magic 50# for our big feral hogs. Also with my 29 1/4 draw and 475gr arrows I think I will be getting very good kinetic energy.
Better plan me a trip up to the Northern Territory Ben me old mate!$%^&*

Good jod Sutto, I thought you might like the bow after you got your hands on it. can't wait to see some hog photos.

There you go, Sutto. Sweet looking bow. Seems to be shooting good for you. Can't wait to see some hog pics!
Mike
Nice bow.
Love them predators. Good shooting
Good shooting cobber. There is nothing like a bow what "fits".
ak.
Real nice bows, I've been shooting mine exclusively since i hurt my wrist and i have really taken a shine to it.
Oh my, that's nice! I like it. I just pity your arrows if you ever miss those targets! I see lots of rocks behind them! But, I forgot, you won't miss....
Your shooting a PREDATOR!
Now you just need some better arrows or at least new feathers. :D
Beautiful bow sutto...and looks like a tack driver too!
Thanks for putting the pic's up again Mike - appreciate that.
Yes wonderful bow guys - want to put some silencers on the string today and I will have a formidable piece of Trad gear.
Sutto
Yes Xtrema312 - they are my old beaten up tried and proven 35/55 Goldtips. I have shot them hundreds of times into stumps and other things and they just keep on going. Best arrows I have ever used.
I find with the small target points that the old feathers don't matter, but I have a good set with new 5" helicals on them for the broadheads. We all know broadheads have to spin and they certainly would'nt do that with those old feathers.
Sutto
....very nice mate, very nice!!
Very nice!! I love your range. I would love to try it out if I'm ever in Austrailia. LOL!
Sutto, where is that archery range? It looks awesome and I'll be in Sydney this weekend.
I sent you a P/M Tom
You are so lucky in Canberra - that shop where I got this bow is so awesome (archery supplies Fyshwick). they have the best selection of trad gear I have ever seen the guys were very helpful. Our main store in Sydney is crap.
The archery range is Manly Warringah field archers on Monavale rd.
Sutto

A new bow always shoots better! That's why we really do need a new one every month!
