Title: Got my Dryad today
Post by: houseman on March 06, 2009, 10:55:00 PM
It's 64" 52@28 cocoblo riser and bamboo limbs.  Can't find cord to the camera so no pics.   man what a shooter!  Ain't shot a group like that in a while.  Grip is perfect.  Thank you dryad.  Now after about 20 shots I needed to move the nock(it was metal) and like every time I have tried, I cut the string.  So I love the bow just need a new string. That's why I tye on nocks.

Dang Jeff,

What did you move the nock with. . a knife?

Are you making a string or do I need to send you one?  LOL

Yes I use nock pliers.  Have know idea why I do it to every one I have ever touched?  Thanks mike.  I made one up today.  Do I need to pad loops for 12 strands of d97?  I really love the bow.

With 12 I would pad them too 18.  Are you allowed to use sharp objects of other types?  LOL

Must have a pretty sharp edge on the pliers.

I've used new razorblades to cut serving off of braced bows and never cut the string...LOLNever had a problem with nock points.

Congrats on the new bow. There's a bow blank from wingnut in my future for sure.Always hear great things about their bows.
