I just picked up another dozen arrows from 3Rivers. First thing I noticed was the nock being rotated about 20 degrees clockwise (looking from the nock end) on all these arrows. This wouldn't normally bother me except I am now using my nose as a second anchor (I like this a lot) and the cock fletching is too low on these arrows for my nose to reach without rotating my head out of position. What is the best way to remove nocks so I can position them where I need them? Break them and install new?
Nocks can be hard to remove. Try working them with pliers or cutting thru the rear of the nock inline with the groove with dikes, being careful not to get into the taper. You may have to just cut or grind them off. The nocks will be ruined in the process, but they are cheap.
if they are carbons, they are just press fit it the shaft.
put it on the string and rotate it where ya want it.
might also try heating them with a hair dryer.
