Have any of you guys come up with a way to protect your recurve while it is strung. Cases are pretty expensive, and I was wondering if anyone has come up with an easy DIY bow case for strung recuve with a quiver attached. I was thinking about making my own from some fabric. Any ideas?
I was going to make one when I saw the case from NEET. It holds my 64" Widow and has a large arrow case on the other side. It is $100 up here in canada so it would be a lot cheaper down there.

My wife took two pieces of foam rubber, glued and sewed black vynal(Spell) over them and sewed the bottom together with a flap. Then added velcro flaps to all three sides on 1 half and sewed velcro to the 3 sides on the other half.It is a retangle shape.
Pull loose the velcro on the three sides and it opens up fully and lays flat. Or you can just open the long side and slide bow in from the top.
A 62 inch strung recurve will fit in it as well as a detached great northern 5 arrow quiver with arrows. 2 accessory pouches inside, 1 pouch outside.
My initials are embroidried on the front and a pict of an elk.
I have been using it for 16 years. Great to put bow in and throw in back of pickup, water resistant, keeps dust off bow and protects bow finish while in back of the truck.

Got a pic Rice? That sounds sweet!
someone posted a wooden case they had made. It had a bow compartment on the bottem and the "lid" could hold arrows. i tried to search for it but can't find it. would love to see that pic again if anyone knows where it is.
Been thinking about making a wood case but am deciding on 1 or 2 bow with arrows in the lid.
