Title: Graphlex spine chart
Post by: M60gunner on March 01, 2009, 11:37:00 PM
I have aquired some old archery stuff. In the case are some old Gordons Graphlex arrows. I tried a search for the spine charts that used to be in a forum? Got no return.
Can anyone tell me what spine are: XT 17-8 and XT 19-8? Thank You
Tom M

I used to have a chart but can't seem to find it.But if I remember correctly a 19-8 is close to a 2219.

According to the Graflex chart I have (don't remember where I got it) XT 17-8 have a deflection of .350 and are comparable to 2018 in aluminum.(about 75# --26 inches divided by .350) XT 19-8 have a deflection of .270 and are comparable to 2219. (about 96#) Hope that helps.

In my imagination, Orion has an underground room connected by torchlit halls, in which one could find such obscure treasures as a Graflex spine chart.  Some day an archeologist will be famous for discovering it.

Thank you Everyone for your help. The 17-8's are about 26in long. I thought for a lady but if they are close to 2018 maybe for an overdraw.
The man who I got the stuff from was a Dyna-Bow shooter. He might have an overdraw bow in his collection.
 Thanks agian, Tom M
