Macassur Ebony and Bocote... actually getting a face lift to a medium grip with 1/2 Pinecones at present...

One of my favorites... Cocobolo and Osage... Not my bow, but still a favorite...

Another favorite... Macassur Ebony and Tulipwood. This one I bought used, sold and tracked it down again and got it back again... It's actually laying on the couch next to me as I type. Just nice to look at...

I like the bubinga and zebra riser with bocote limbs.You can see picture on my website.

Yep.. Cocobolo and osage is pretty hard to beat! I like Bacote as well.

Osage and black walnut! Plus it will look even better as the osage mellows over time.

That's like asking if blonds, brunettes, or redheads are prettier! I love them all!

But when it comes down to it I'm partial to Cocobolo and Osage. Here is my RER LX. The Osage has since darkened up, and that's what I really like about Osage - it just keeps getting better and better!

Over and under nice bow ??? What is it...fav woods Bocote,bubinga, osage, embuia, I love bammbo or red elm for limb woods or hickory! :)

ya know, i've always been drawn to the plain "vanilla" bows that have the grey action wood. yeah, i know its not as fancy as some of the exotic woods, but just as functional.

That is a Dave Beeler LB 56" 51@28. Just got it in Jan of this year.

I can't post any pictures, but I have a rather simple taste in bows. I like to use cocobolo with osage orange, and I like to use shedua with bamboo. Other than that, the only thing I have that might lean towards fancy is a mixture of bamboo and mountain juniper with shedua. Very pleasing and functional:)

There's too many great combos. That's one reason I have kept buying bows....I love them all. I have a bow on order that will be my new favorite soon. It will be snakewood, leopardwood, and wenge.

Norms snakewood is definitely my favorite as well Snag. I've never seen it first hand but I would imagine it is even more stunning in person.

Here is another Macasser Ebony with a Bocote flair. I had to call Bob Morrison on this bocote. It's the darkest I've ever seen but he confirmed it.
