Wanting to put a tanned coyote face on my leather back quiver? How would you attach it? Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Horner
Depending on what your quiver is made out of, I would use artifical sinew. Works great!
Barge cement is supposed to work great for glueing leather to leather. Maybe glue it on and stitch down the edges?
Barge Cement where do you get it?
Thanks,
Horner
Just about any craft store should have it. If you have a hobby lobby close by thats where I got mine.
Thanks
I made a side quiver this winter that I covered with hair on cowhide. I used spray fabric glue from my wife's upholstery shop. She buys it from the suppler but they sell it at Home Depot. You spray both sides, give it about 4 to 5 minutes and then stick the sides together. It adheres well and stays pretty flexible.
I've made several quivers using Elmers Craft bond spray adhesive. Another GOOD line of very strong spray adhesives is made be 3M. They can be a little pricey but when I want somthing to stick together for good thats the stuff I use.
Any good glue or cement will do.I've used elmers. After I sanded [100 grit]the hide and leather quiver good and added glue.I wraped with ace bandge an let dry.I've done a few an never had one come off.Did one with squrrils,a dog coyote, and two deer.
Thanks everyone,
