Here in NE Maryland were looking to get 6 or so inches tomorrow into Monday.
I just got an e-mail from my buddy Dave in AZ and he's talking 80 degrees and grass mowing !
I was out with my son and my cousin (PowDuck) today in the Ozarks. We were just doing a little stump shooting and goofing off. It snowed on us almost all day and is still snowing here at my house now. Luckily it is a little too warm for anything to stick. We had a great time just getting out anyway. BOB
It's melted off here at home, but you can go 15 miles east and find all you want.
We have some but they are calling for 10" of fresh snow Sunday night into Monday afternoon.
Quebec is a big place. I live in the north part.
We are still in the midst of winter.
It was -37 degrees Celsius here last night not counting the wind chill warning. (at -40 Fahrenheit and Celsius are the same)
My stumping area is at a bit above 2500 ft., just below Snoqualmie Pass in the Cascades. Only folks up there right now are snowboarders and skiers. I think the current pack is something like 94". I am longing for spring, but it'll be April before there's free ground up there....
It is still very much winter here. 21 for a high today.
Been on and off all winter. Just got 5" last night. Single digits tonight and club string shoot tomorrow morning. Should be fun!
Plenty of winter left here.
I was spliting firewood today at noon, and the wind still had plenty of sting to it.
There is a solid eighteen inches of packed ice/snow mix left in the woods. The sun IS stronger, and soon old man winter will be showing signs of weakness.
It`s all good.
There was plenty snow on the ground when we were out shooting today. It was 17 degrees today with wind chill and we only shot a few hours then we had to go inside to warm up...we did come back out and shoot for another hour or so.
It was about 60 here today. My hunting spot about an hour from here, will have snow on it through june.
We still have plenty of snow here too. Never got out of the 20's today. Predicting snow and temps in the teens for the next few days.
Are you kidding? It will be here until June. cheers, Don
have about 20in where i hunt
Maidstone,Ontario, Canada,southern Ontario, still freezing cold,no snow,but I still like it!
Not much snow left here at my house. Depending on where on my place you are standing any where from one to three feet.
No I ain,t kidding. It will be there till about the end of june.
We got 3 1/2" last night and this morning, Our largest snow of the Year. Rode My Harley in a t-shirt on Wed. 70 plus degrees. Weatherman calling for 70's by Thursday this week.
I live in North Idaho and we have had record snow fall this year, but It is starting to melt
Snow ???? Still got it,go figure.
About 3 feet of snow pack. The snow banks are higher than the top of my head here. And 3 degrees right now, so it ain't melting.
North Mississippi got the first snow of the season last night, looks like 2-3" on my deck, hard to tell because the wind is blowing like crazy and it's still dark out. I'll do some deer tracking for fun later if I can find fresh sign.
I've seen maybe three snowfalls in hunting season here in 45 years of bowhunting. February and March are our probable snow months. We average about one measurable snowfall a year.
I was out bunny hunting/stumping yesterday.Depends on where you you are.Still 2 feet in some spots,I got up top the mountain on the south face and I was rustling leaves on bare ground(Was awful nice to see bare ground.Haven't seen it in like two months...LOL).
Yes, and I'm sick of it. I don't like stumpin' with frozen stumps. :banghead:
3" last night in N Alabama, pretty rare but it will be gone as the day warms up.
I know there is plenty at home, but since I'm snowbirding, all I see are rocks, cactus, and the desert flowers coming to life. We don't need no stinking snow!
Who still has snow??????We got about 3.5feet with more coming tonite! LAst storm which was a week ago dumped 14"....spring only 20 days away ya know.
gosh ...it was 68 yesterday...cool 35 , but no white stuff :)
Yep!!!! But disappearing slowly, but not fast enough for me.
Oh yea forgot to say where I am, E. Washington State
Yep, about 20" or so of snow still on the ground here In central Mn. I'm damn sick of Winter this year, the cold temps have been the worst part of It!
Come on Spring!!
Nwest Penna. been snow on the ground since very early Nov. Just starting to get some thawing last week, bitter cold winds yesterday an today. I can,t wait to see grass again, been an awful long winter an I like winter, but I,ve had enough, my knapping skills get pretty rusty when winter is long. Lake Erie is one big ice cube never seems to warm up until June. Later Bob
Mr. bayoulongbowman,
Plenty of snow here and will be for a couple more months. We usually get one last heavy snow fall the first or second week of May.
Best Wishes
Would you expect there to NOT be snow here? There isn't much tho, the moose may have an easy winter this year (this area),if we don't get to much more. I'll be looking to poke a hole in one come hunt season.
Just went snow machining yestrerday, didnt get in over my head. ;-) ;)
A little less than Nor'easter. Average of 2.5 feet, 12" tonight. All my shooting is indoors now. Just starting to be able to think about turkey season. When I get done here I will be throwing the snowshoes on to walk the dogs. :goldtooth:
it actualy snowed here today. the snowflakes were the size of crows eggs.
We got 9" more last Wednesday and Thursday. After sttling, that still leaves about 2' average on the ground. Of course it all came after hunting season, let alone the early archery in Montana.
Deer have made three main trail systems all around our place. We see about 8 to 10 every day, but evidence of a whole lot more during the night. Too deep to go up the hill and look for sheds. Maybe in the next couple of weeks if it warms up.
Right now concentrating on ice fishing before it gets thin.
Greetings from central WIsconsin plenty of snow here, thanks Jerry.
I was out stump shooting today.the temp was -16 degrees celcius and we still have 42 inches of snow in the woods. Here are my pics.
