I've been a big fan of Frogg Toggs. I've always worn my light tan parka/pants under my camo when hunting in wet conditions and always stayed dry.
I called the company last week and got myself a new set of Camouflage Toggs in AP Realtree HD. Cut generous the jacket and pants are perfect for wearing OVER my hunting clothes. You can roll the raingear up and it fits in the 10" x 6" tote bag. Takes up no room in my storage container. Hope the pic comes out in the right size....

Joe, Does that stuff quiet down when it get wet? I was looking at it just yesterday and it seemed noisy.

I have the same set and really like them. Not real noisy when it gets cold and a great wind breaker.

Greg- it seems to settle down after you break them in a little. Kind of stiff at first but soften up the more you wear them in my opinion.

Watch out for the seam in the crotch of the pants - high failure area.
Still too noisy for me, my favorite rain gear is still Rivers West. Silent, waterproof, and stretechy in all the right places.

Joe I've been thinking on getting those. I need some thing light weight. Only rain gear I have is too warm for any thing other then cold weather.

I have a set and I think they are too noisy to hunt in. Too bad because if not they would be awesome.

The whole woods are noisy when it's raining good.

I agree Jim, if you need raingear then it's noisy enough to cover any sound from your rainsuit.

Very noisy, great for the boat, not for the woods. Briars love them.

Dave...here in the Northeast, we do hunt the rain and its noisy out there. Southpawshooter will attest to a few days we spent in the woods. You be surprised how much noise the rain creates smacking off limbs and leaves.
I agree...I wouldn't barge through briars or thorns with this stuff but it does soften up and it keeps me dry. If a whitetail gets that close to hear the suit "rustle"....he'll be leaving with an arrow in him.... For the money, and the luck I had with my previous Toggs, its a good investment.

My favorite days to hunt are on those misty wet days when the barometer is perfect and you get an occasional sprinkle or downpour. I think the deer move the best on these days. My point is, it is not always raining when you are out in weather like that and when a deer is standing under you and it is quiet the frog toggs are much too loud in my opinion. There is other rain gear that is packable and makes no noise when you move in it.

I met a guy not long ago that had a Frogg Togg suit he bought for ridding his motorcycle. At first I thought it looked pretty fragile but he assured me it was tough stuff.
The best part is it seems to allow air circulation while keeping out the rain.
Has anyone ever torn theirs?

I tried a set on a three day backpack hunt and ripped them to shreds. I was covered with strips of duct tape from head to toe by the end of the trip:) I normally fall back on HH Impertech which works well on multi-day trips in rain when everything gets wet. Tears are usually small, if any, and are easy to mend in the field.

OK Terry...after getting whipped to death by Rob...and he was semi gentle about it...I played with my camera and found I can preset the image to the 640X setting. So....I shouldn't hear from the Photo Police in the future..... :saywhat: :rolleyes:

I've split the crotch seam out of two pair. BassPro took them back.
I am on my third set now. I don't hunt with mine, they are blue and for the boat, when I stepped down from the dock to the boat I heard a small "rip".
When I got home the seat seam began to let loose.
I just super glued it shut.
When this pair rips, I'm done with them. I'll find something else.
