it's just handy to have two hands free sometimes
very nice, I like it!
Very nice!
I may have to try and copy that someday if you don't mind.
You just unsnap it from the limbs to shoot right?
Who makes the quiver you're using?
Very nice,free's up a hand,I like it.
yeah they wrap around the limbs and fasten with press studs. if you make one be sure to sew fabric behind the male part of the press stud after you install them, or they will mark your limbs. also be sure to leave enough strap for adjustment when wearing a pack.
thunderhorn quiver with custom 4-2 config holder.
That looks real handy - AND practical. Good job.

Very cool.
I need one of those, stat!! I actually get tired of carrying the bow when I hunt. I had no idea you could do that.
You better get some paperwork going and try to market that... before someone else does. Very nice and creative. I like it a lot. Roll it up, put it in your pocket, and never know it's there. You could call it "The Spare hand". I do get one for naming it right ?. LOL. Seriously, thanks for sharing..

Agreed very nice. Have you shot the bow with it on? It looks like you would not need to take it off if you didn't want too. Sort of like a rifle sling.
I would buy one. Like Froggy said, I would leave it in my pack and use it or not. Sometimes you just need an extra hand going into or out of a hunt.
Thanks for posting.
You better get a patent on that quick !! Great Idea !!
if i had the gear here i would make some for you guys. only thing is you sort of need the bow if you want a nice snug fit on the limbs, unless i was to come up with some way of making that part adjustable. which would be better anyway because it would be a universal fit.
Bring one down when you come hunt with me :D
i made one clint just about like that but i used velcro to go around the limbs it worked real nice also try velcro it wont scratch your limbs either i used it alot when i when coon hunting at night so both hands were free for hanging on to dogs and other stuff
i just wraped it up around the quiver and shot with it on didnt affect anything when you shot the bow
you should do one in latigo leather and market it
Nice job...Is there anything between the snaps and the bow
i used a looped rifle sling around the quiver like cooncrazy.
frassettor- yes there is some material sewn behind the after they are put in. don't worry it doesn't mark my limbs
I got the straps and the snaps I will make one.Good job I like it so simple and yet very useful.Thank you.Tell us how you trip and hunting is going and come visit me in Louisiana when you get tired of hunting the pretty country. I will try to put you on some hogs in a ugly swamp. Kip
Again, very nice.
Whats with the leather strap going around the hood of the quiver?
Thats the 2 point quiver right?
I don't see the 4x2 config, did you call and ask them to do that???
You can PM me or email me if you want.
kip- what, ugly like this. i'm there! :campfire:

2knives- this is what i mean by 4-2 config. 4 arrows with 2 arrows behind them. like a quikee quiver. i just like it's compactness. it keeps all your arrows parallel to the string, which looks better to me. you can imagine 6 arrows in a row... it looks like a turkey's tail.
yes it's a thunder horn two point. i just rang them and they were happy to make what i wanted. just a few bucks more for the rework from standard.

also well spotted on the leather strap on the hood. it's a spare b/head carrier i made. i always carry a blunt. but sometimes you need to swap it out for a b/head. so this is what i came up with to solve that problem.

maybe i should start marketing this stuff.
very cool, thanks for the explanation.
I also have a extra broadhead tucked away for the very same reason!
I carry 1 flu-flu blunt and 1 regular blunt that can be swapped for a point.
Thanks again!
Also, when y'all get tired of chasing pigs...let me know.
Me and 5 of my buddies will be down there to take over for y'all...we'll bring the libations!
I really miss hog hunting!!!!!
