Title: Whisperstik "Thumper" New Pictures
Post by: Mel Amos on February 22, 2009, 08:07:00 PM
All,

JD is just about finished with my new TD.

It's 56" 50@26....Bocote and Osage with Foam Core Limbs.

All he has left to do is put the leather grip on.

WOW is that bocote beautiful or what?

CANNOT wait to get my hands on this puppy!

Thanks JD...

This thing is beautiful.  It arrived today.  It feels great in the hand.  Light and slings a arrow.

Thanks JD!  Awesome Bocote!

Awesome!  I think that is some of the Osage from my parent's farm.

He's working on mine this week and it should be complete soon.

The Bacote in the veneers are amazing, he was telling me about them and how he liked them better than the ones on his bacote bow he hunts with.

Let us know how it shoots!

It's on the "what's new" section.  KajikaStik (http://www.whisperstikbows.com/whatsnew.html)

 Thread on the bow (http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=069842#000000)

I think the price is $675 with one set of limbs and around $1000 with matched sets of longbow and recurve limbs.

rnharris, when i shot my kajika my jaw dropped....it was not only faster than my 1 pc but it seemed faster than anything i have shot. from what i remember JD saying, the limbs come off the same form as the 1 pc but the new kajika has a lower brace height.  the bow flat out smokes an arrow!

Thanks Pete.  It is dead quiet in the hand.  JD put a 10 strand string on it.

very nice bow, that wood is awesome, Jd was just showing me one a couple weeks ago, I'd be interested in hearing more reviews on how they preform.
