Can anybody mic me the O.D. on an XX75 or XX78 2317? Prefer 4 places if possible. Thanks

I don't have one to check, but a chart I have lists them at .3594

Look up a decimal chart, and it should be a 23/64 ths

My chart from Easton lists them at 0.369" O.D. ...wierd, because the rest of the info in same chart shows wall thickness @ 0.0169" and I.D. @ 0.3351".

Add up two wall thicknesses & the I.D., you get 0.369"  

Decimal equivalent of 23/64ths = 0.359" [0.3594]

I don't have a 2317 but, I have a 2315. The O.D. should be the same on both as the first two digits indicate the O.D. (in centimeters if I remember correctly), and the second two digits indicate the wall thickness in thousandths.

The XX75 2315 measures 0.3555 within a 1/2 a thousandth anywhere I mic it. Hope that helps.

I measured an old green gamegetter shaft. It came in at .368-.370. Gary

OD is indicated in 64ths of an inch.
