Hey Guys. Bobby Grahm is really busy and is not taking orders right now. I'm looking for someone who can make me an 8 strand D97 string for a Habu recurve, with a tied on nock point that you can twist up and down the serving any ideas?
You will have to put the nock point on.Dental falss or fake sinew works fine.

Wish I had some D97,,I'd make a couple up for you bud, The serving nock is easy. Just start with a double not and single nots till desired size and then end with a double not. The trick is to do the nots on each side of the string exchanging sides each time you tie a new not, this will give you a even nock point,,I like it alot for tuning purpose but I use the good old brass too.JB
jonsimoneau, i have some black D97 that I could make a string for you. If interested, send me a pm. Steve
What good is a moving nocking point for?
I use paper and superglue for my nocking points now, after I had ruined a shooting glove on a sharp edge of a messing nocking point.
What he means is that it will thread like a nut on a bolt.I think its great for tuning and doesn't kill your glove eather,,..JB
i put string nocks on all the bows I build and send out. The adjustment, as mentioned in the previous post is neat. On mine clockwise raises the nock, counterclockwise lowers the nock. Once you have shot in your string and got the nock height just right put a small dab of superglue on the TOP OF THE NOCK. The best twine I have found for this is blind stitching twine found at an upholstery outlet.
