Well if everthing works out, I have 2 (new to me) Black Widows on the way shortly. After I sold me SAII last year, I kick my own butt for that one. I found a MAII 56#@28 and a PLII 58#@28 both for a real good price. I wanted another SAII but I can live with a MAII. The weight is alittle high on the PLII but I can live with it I hope, maybe I can send it back to BW and have them lower the weigt on it.
Now for you BW guys, where do I start on arrows for both these bow? I pull 27 1/2- 27 3/4"
give me idea on all type arrows. Aluminum, carbon and woodies.
I was going to go back to compounds, I had a nice Hoyt loaded with all the bells and whistles picked out, but I just couldn't do it. It just isn't as fun when you know you can shoot out at 50yrds with out missing.
I think that you will like the MA better than your old SA. I have almost the same exact set-up and draw. I shoot 55-75 Gold Tips that are almost 3o inches long with a 125 grain point on a 75 grain insert.
Here's what I'm shootin. GT 55-75 with 100 gr insert, 125 gr point, 29" arrow. My PSA is 54lb @ 28".
I shoot Arrow Dynamics! I have a BW PLX 58@28, and have another one coming in 7 weeks which is 62@28...1 arrow for mulitiple bows..Thats what I like
You think I will be able to use 2020's for both bow with 125-160gr heads.
My MAII likes 60-65 laminated birch /125gr head just over 30" long. I draw 29" the bow is 51#@29". Arrow weight is 725GRS.
Carbon Express Heritage 250's with about 225 up front.
My best shooting Widow is a 62" MAIII 51@30 that I bought new in 1998. Been thru alot of bows and this is the only one I will never sell. Shoots 31" Goldtip 5575's with 125gr on the business like darts. 197fps and dead quiet.
