Anybody draw 30" or more with a Shrew? Kinda interested in a short bow but have a long draw . What length Shrew would work? Thanks David
I think I've heard of a few drawing a 52 incher at 30 inches with no problem.
Been looking at a 56". Wondering if it would work.
David, I shoot a true 30.5" draw. I shot a 56" Classic Hunter last year for hunting and loved it. I shoot a 60" Samuri all the time, it is just my favorite. Shooting the Classic and Samuri together I don't feel that I lost anything with the shorter of the two. I may have picked up a little speed with the Classic. Hope this helps feel free to contact me with any other questions. Big Ed
Thanks for the info Ed. Right now I'm shooting 64" A&H acscx and also draw 30.5" Was just thinking on a shorter bow for ground blind work.
The new Classic is the perfect bow for the ground blind.
A 56" Classic Hunter longbow or a 56" Lil Favorite recurve would be perfect for you.
Allan
I concur on 56" Classic, assuming you want a short longbow rather than a recurve. I have two at 54" CH's and have overdrawn them to 30" with no stack or problems of any sort. Or a 58" SuperShrew.
David, The Shrew Classic Hunter in 56" length is your Huckleberry..at 30" it'll be smooth as butter.. :readit: .... :archer:
