Has anyone heard anything from Andy and the Boys?
I don't think it started yet....but I could be wrong.
I'm looking forward to the stories though!!
A few of the boys just rolled into camp today. Stinson,Irish,Shaun, tradtusker and his dad. They are to do a little pre scouting and corning for the weee little piggys :readit: It is on the same ranch we hunted last year. So they have a good game plan already. I believe the others are to arrive on Sunday. Can't wait for the story's. :campfire:
Brent
Good luck to ya all, an may them pigs be out of luck..
I heard there was another norwegian going this year? Guess I didnt scare Curtis too bad.
And, If Bob Morrison comes - chase him home, he is supposed to make me a bow.
K
Talked with Bob M. on the phone don't think he's going to be there.
Gene
Unfortunately I missed a phone call from Curtis on Saturday while he was briefly in cell phone range, so I'm not able to add any additional news. The event doesn't begin until Sunday, so I would suspect the updates to be coming in shortly.
Thank you Mr. Kellar :notworthy:
News Bulletin Just in from Stinson the serial hog killer.
Brent,
All guys in camp, only started this am it's cool and cloudy. Shaun and Ken - Suty got into hogs this am. Two misses there. I have seen over 50 hogs in last two days scouting. Havies all over. Gonna be a lot of dead pigs when sun comes out. :coffee:
Gary...tried to send you a PM but it shot back to me. I'm interested to find out what Curtis has for free-range exotic hunting this coming year.
To go along with what Brent said:
Finally . . . an update from Texas Sweat headquarters!!
All the activity got kicked off this morning after all the hunters arrived "pumped and ready" yesterday afternoon. Everyone is seeing abundant game, with huge numbers of hogs in the 250# range being reported, along with larger than ever numbers of javelina. Dave "Hunt It" Stinson actually "passed" on a shot on a boar that he estimated at somewhere between five and six hundred pounds. Now Dave has hunted big game in Africa, so if he passed on this shot, it must have been one big hog!
Curtis and Andy (Tradtusker) actually crawled right into a large sounder of hogs and stood face to face with a 300# sow. Suty has been chasing a sounder and Shaun Webb has been on Javelina all morning. I'm not going to get into the specifics of who shot what, or how many, as there seems to be too many tales to tally already. So I'll just leave all the story telling up to them.

Update of stories coming in the future, just in from Hunt In
Hello Brent,
I am just in Odessa waiting for shop to finish up with my truck. Trip has been a vehicle nightmare for me. First day in camp it died offroad, shut right down. Towed it to Odessa and picked it up last Sat. First 500 yards off road it died again. Towed it again and they have found the short I hope. Tow truck driver demoed front bumper.
Yesterday, Mel arrowed 1 havie and Andy's dad Allan got a havie as well. Curtis arrowed another hog and a havie. Curtis in lead for most hogs and I have biggest so far. Temp dropped to 24 degrees last. Night. Doc John and Robert sat at water holes till 4 am with no shots. They seen a few.

Keep it coming guys....Great Stuff  :clapper:
