Post by: CO_Redneck on February 13, 2009, 07:08:00 PM
Hey ya'll,
So, I was shootin the other day and ended up crackin one of my woodies about 6 inches above the point.   :help:   Also, about how many grains can I expect to have added to my shaft by footing it?

Thanks guys!  :notworthy:

Keep the thickness at what ever the width of the saw cut is, weight will depend on the wood used and length of the foot. I keep my foots at 7.25" long and with Dymond wood it will add about 50 grains,
Bob

Yea, go with what Bob says.  Has anyone really footed more arrows than him?  Thanks for the help with mine Bob!
