I've hunted turkey a long time...and never seen a property with more big gobblers than this one.
a flock of birds on the road, last weekend
(http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e322/rayhammond123/P1000067.jpg)
Hearing and working undisturbed practically unhunted turkeys on this large block of property with no competition from other hunters and then chasing pigs the rest of the day, fine food, good campmates, guides, skinners, packers, all reasonably priced.
I have one slot left for Mar 27,28,29 and four slots for April 24,25,26.

Take a look, and thanks for your time!
Ray,
I'll have to get with you next spring. I am having shoulder surgery in 3 weeks. I hope to be able to shoot a hunting weight bow by fall, it's up in the air for now.
P.J.
the birds will still be there, PJ! Good luck on the surgery.
What we have for Saturday supper, usually
(http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e322/rayhammond123/P1000070-1.jpg)
20 oz + ribeyes with Cholula butter under the broiler
A good deal fellas. Unpressured birds with folks that know what they are doing is rare. And pigs to boot. You ain`t lived till you`ve had to make the choice between a pig squeeling or a gobbler gobbling.RC
Ray's place is loaded with Turkey. Some of you guys need to get down there and knock them birds outta the way. I'll take the two hogs for $325! :D
RC is right! (although I hate to admit it.)
I've been fortunate enough to be looking at pigs and hearing a big gobbler drumming behind me a few times. One of life's biggest delemmas!!
Ray's place is primo.

Definately want to do this one in the future! :bigsmyl:
WOW RAY!!! Sure wish I had the time to get away to come down there. ONE DAY BUDDY, ONE DAY!
If you ever get a line on a property to hunt free range frying chickens, I am your man. LOL!!!
Well alrighty...this is to good to be true. I'm in for March 27-29. Just there a couple weeks ago and the turkeys were like fleas. Sent ya an email Ray.
Benny
Wow, This hunt sounds awesome bud
Curt, you wouldn't believe it unless you saw it, bud.
Got that package by the way- THANK YOUU!!!!!!
Ray, Im trying to get a group together for April 10-12.
Bill
Ray, are there any openings still? Also, near what town is this hunt located. Trying to see how long it would take me to get there from Illinois.
Tracy, I might be interested in getting in on that group if you are unable to get enough people. Besides, I wanna shoot one of your bows!!
I do have openings, Jon. It's near Allendale, SC
You would probably come down to Charlotte..and take 77 to Columbia and go south on 321 to ESTILL, SC where we meet. 2 hrs 15 to 2 hrs 30 minutes from Charlotte, NC?
See the Sponsor's ad for the dates in March and April - I have 2 people booked on the first dates March 27,28,29.
http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=48&t=000770
The other dates at this moment are wide open..but folks are supposed to call back tomorrow or over the weekend about them.
You know how that goes.
I take PayPal deposits of $103.50 per hunter ...four hunters per weekend...adding 3.50 to PayPal to cover their charges is why the odd amount.
rayhammond01@yahoo.com is PP addy.
You can also call me at 678-300-2883 or mail deposits to

Ray, SOLD. Do you think any date is better than the other? Also, I have a fiance that will not hunt but would like to come along. Would this be possible, and if so, how much? I don't really care, but is it camping, or a bunkhouse type deal?
Sent a payment to paypal
Jon, You have a pm.
Bill
Jon,
Bill Dunn is coming April 10,11,12. Why not come that weekend as well? Should be great!
Ray, I think that weekend will work fine! Need some pork chops!
Glad you got it ok Ray...
This hunt sounds too cool......someday!
Curt sign up for this April! We can carpool. I NEED your turkey hunting help!
Ray, you make sure to stop by and see me in Atlanta.
We still have room for one more on April 10-12 if anyone is interested.
Bill
Jon, I wish I could bud, I'd luv to hunt with ya!
Man I wish it wasnt so far to GA , so little time and so many good hunts with good folks, arent we fortunate to have so many options.
Curt, just do it man! Hell it's only 3 days! Take it from another Union Laborer...IT CAN WAIT!!! I don't think you understand.....I don't know my butt from a hole in the ground when it comes to turkeys. I'm desperate man!!!!. I'll personally drag out any hogs you kill!!!
Bill, hope I did not misplace anybody on your hunt. I can move to the next date if I bumped one of your buddies out.
Curt, let the carpenters do your work for a couple of days....they will be BEGGING for you to come back! HA!
Guru, I dont know what more you can ask of a friend then that.Although A buddy and I have a standing rule when we hunt together.IF he kills an animal I have to gut it for him,and if I kill he has to gut my animals.I think you may be able to leverage this same deal with Jon, he sounds just desperate enough.
Jon, dont worry about displacing anyone, its fine.Im looking forward to hunting with you.We still have room for one more trad ganger.
Bill
Bill, if you look up desperate in the dictionary, you will find a picture of my "**** eatin' grin" I know there will be lot's of hogs, but I'll bet I'm the only blind one looking for an acorn!
Lost that last post. But let me tell you this Curt. I'll wager that I can drag 2 hogs and 2 turkeys out at the same time. And if not...well at least it would be funny as hell to watch.
Knowing the way you operate out there...I'd have to try!!
Im bringing a video camera!! I see some funniest home video opertuninty here :biglaugh:
Bill, I'm in if you still have a spot! I need to see Ray at least once a year or he gets kinda grouchy.
Jon, You're not making this easy bud. If was just a matter of driving down,I'd be all over it. But if I told me wife that I need to pay for another hunt, I think my stuff would be waiting outside for me when I got home!
Believe me, I'd love to do it
Beachbowhunter
I will consieder the spot filled! Glad to have you along!!!
Bill
Turkeys I've got here in Missouri. Hogs I don't.
I'd love to try it just for the hogs some time. I haven't looked at your link yet Ray but are you offering just turk/hog combo hunts in the spring or do you do hogs anytime? I've only hunted pigs twice. The first time I shot one just before dark in flooded timber. Ever tried to blood trail a critter in standing water in the dark? Came back the next morning and never did find him. I think he dug into one of the house sized dozer piles in the area. Anyway, no pig. Second time, I never even saw a pig but both trips I had a great time and have always wanted a rematch.
The job is on shaky ground for the next couple months but as soon as I get the word for sure that I get to stay or have to find a new one, I'll be able to make a decision. Might show up at your door with a cardboard "Will hunt for food" sign trying to fill a couple coolers.
I wonder what the price per pound of pork would be after allowing for gas money to and from Missouri? :D
I understand Curt. But I had to try! I'm sure I'll get in on a hunt with ya someday man!
:jumper: :jumper: :jumper: :jumper:
Looking forward to meeting you Norbert!
Dave, go to the Sponsor's Classifieds and you will see we now run hunts from Jan 1 through Nov 24th. Thanksgiving through Dec 31 is not hunted at this time.
So let me know when you find out about the job...heck, if they give you a severance package it might be a good time to take the first week off and get your head straight killin' some piggies!
I can't stand the excitement guys! This is gonna be FUN!
Well looks like I screwed up again :( I'll be in Aiken...March 4-15 & April 1-11. Doc
Back at you Jon. I am stoked! Ok Ray. Now you need to dust off your pig-killing Zipper cuz shooting a Morrison on this weekend might not be politically correct! Not that there's anything wrong with a Morrison :D
Longbow Rookie will also be joining us in April.
Beachbowhunter I have a feeling Ray may dust her off,or fondel something with a bit less milage.Like you said though, nothing wrong with those Morrisons.
Bill
I believe the group shakes out like this. Please correct me if Im wrong
