Title: My New Shrew!
Post by: Long Bow on February 10, 2009, 09:49:00 PM
Finally got around to posting this cuz I wanted to spend a few days with her all to myself!    :bigsmyl:  That few days turned into ten, but who's  counting.

Went to Kalamazoo Expo and picked up my Shrew Classic Hunter...54" 52@28...Curly Birch veneers, Elk antler tips, and Bow Bolt Take-down.

Nice!  Love the birch. I really like the rich dark colors like that.  What is the riser wood and limb core?

Beautiful bow and it will shoot as good as it looks. The Bow Bolt takedown feature is something you will love about that bow. Congratulations. Enjoy it.

Long Bow -- Your new Shrew take-down beauty is almost identical to mine, which I also picked up at Kzoo. Except I have antler trim on handles and rattler skin on the back. It's entirely possible that your antler tips are from a bull I killed, as I sent Gregg a bunch of elk antler a few months ago. Congrats! dave
