That Morrison dakotah in tulipwood and ebony is without doubt the prettiest bow I've ever seen...admired that one for a few years now...
Hey Carbie!!!!!
Howdy Ray. Would you believe I let it slip thru my fingers. Good thing too, because Jeff got it back. LOL!!! YEP, that is the prettiest bow I have ever owned, shot or fondled.
BTW - It is a Cougar not a Dakota. Not that I know the difference anyway. LOL!!!
There are a few tulipwood pics in these threads:

Whats not to love when your child picks it out for you! On the bottom it will have her name, and she want to put on it " Love you forvever and ever Daddy".....Priceless!

I am glad you still had it CC. When Jeff contacted me about it I though you may had sent it across the pond once I sold it to you.

PS - I ended up selling that DAS to a guy over in Hong Kong. Just wasn't for me.
Tulipwood and Mac Ebony LB. Made it in my garage. Tulip Wood is possibly the best smelling bow wood I have used. It is a Dalbergia species like Cocobolo. Its very hard and heavy and makes a great handle wood. In my opinion nothing is prettier than tulipwood with a dark ebony species. Your daughter made a great choice!
