I am getting my cousin into traditional archery. He just bought a K-Mag from the classifieds here. His specs are:
50 lb.
28 inch draw
29 1/2 arrows
I want to get him going inexpensively, so I am thinking aluminums with 150 grain Stingers. Do 2018's sound about right? Thanks for your expertise. :wavey:
2018s is about right at that length with 150 up front but you may also want to try 2016s if you can get your hands on some to try .

11/32's. You said "traditional" and wood is still cheaper than aluminum. I like www.arrowwoods.com (http://www.arrowwoods.com) Cedar is a good starting point. You'll break the first dozen so I wouldn't go fancy.
11/32 woods 5055 spine
