Title: Arrows for kids?
Post by: Covey on February 07, 2009, 03:28:00 PM
I was wondering where I could get some good arrows for my son? He is pulling about 18# at 20" I think! He likes to shoot judo's so the small woods don't work to good.I cut off some old axis shaft's, so that is what he is shooting right now, they fly good but expensive!! I would like to find some aluminum he could shoot, any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. He is 10 by the way and he love's to shoot his recurve!!!     Thank's Jason

I had my daughter shooting 1516's easton eagle aluminums  at that age. You will need to find glue in target nibbs for them. Try FS discount archery or Lancaster archery.

I picked up some Vapor 2000's from Sipsey River, pretty cheap, I leave them a little longer so my boy can kinda grow into them! He's got about a 23" draw and the arrows are 28" in length! He shoots them now from his 65' K-Mag its 43# @ 28" and will be shooting them from his new 69' Grizzly which is 35# @ 28", he is getting that one for his Birthday on Tuesday!
