I have come to see that there are a lot of custom Feather work on a lot of people arrows. I would love to see them.
I'm want to learn to Fletch and would like to get myself a nice color scheme.
Here's a few that I've made. Not real fancy, but my main focus is making good arrows, not fancy ones. I do like them to be pretty, tho.

Fletcher, your handle fits you.
A few I've done recently. I have a hard time making a dozen all the same. I usually do groups of four.

Where can a guy find the shorter bannana cut feathers? I have only seen the 5" or 5.5" and 3 rivers cutter only has 5" or 5.5"? Any help anyone?
I don't know but you can always just cut an 1" off the back end.
Here is a set of arrows I recently made for a friend....

Gateway feathers will custom make a chopper for you in any profile. I ordered a 4" low profile banana cut chopper from them. You have to send them a drawing of the profile you want and they make up an exact copy, so be accurate with your drawing. It's been awile but I think it's about 50 bucks not cheap but hassle free. Hope this helps. kon

I call this one The Piranha. Fly really well and less resistance off the shelf.

(http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm299/bowdart/Midarkshafts002.jpg) These higher, softer feathers make the sweetest sound went sent on their way. I keep these with my old Reese Field bow that I have on display as a treasure.
(http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm299/bowdart/Midarkshafts002.jpg)I'm sorry, thinked I goofed. This ought to be right size.
Did these up the other day. Might have seen them on my thread.

Terry, I had to put my sun glasses on to admire those. Shouldn't have no problem keeping an eye where they end up. :biglaugh:
I like a similar pattern to Terry's arrows. shows up good in low light and makes it easier to see the arrow hit the mark. I saw these go in low and tight on 3 pigs late one afternoon. DB
