Title: Great Northern Fireball
Post by: varmint101 on February 06, 2009, 08:08:00 PM
I did a search and dcouldn't find a whole lot.

I have a chance to get a Great Northern Fireball and was wondering what everyone's experiences are with the bow.

This particular one is marked "proto" that is 64" and is 65@28 with red elm laminations over bamboo limb cores. It has the locator grip as well.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

Love mine. I have an older one which I prefer to the newer laminated riser design. It is 62" 61#@27". ALL OSAGE! It performs very well and it is a timeless design.

I have a 62 inch 58@28 Fireball with the indexed riser---which --at my draw length of 26-26 1/2 is about 52 lbs.Mine is Hickory limbs with a Rosewood riser. It is very fast-and very very quiet.I have small hands-- and the index riser is a nice fit for me.

Shot one some years back and it seemed like a really nice bow.  Very nice handle and a smooth shooting bow.  Not bad looking either.
