:saywhat:
Maybe next season.
Yes those are nice mulies.
Great pictures! Just imagine how big he & baby brother will be next year!
Somebody put antlers on a horse.
I think the drool just shorted out my keybodfoosdufwjelkfjdslkj/ffdslkj! Dang!
What a beast! Those big muley antlers make the local whitetail deer around here look puny. Did you take these pictures, highcountry?
Victor
Did you use a trailcam on those buck, if so what kind? And were they taking in the 6A or 6B units just wondering. :saywhat:
Those are some beautiful bucks!!!
As big as that boy is, I bet it was up on the Kaibab.
I've never seen any mulie that big in 6A or 6B
C'mon, where was the photo taken?
Great mass on that giant---what was the pic taken with??
What a slammer!!!!!!!
Don
Your proably right, I hunted the Kaibab for 10 years and have seen some bombers. Most of the time Iv'e hunted Javies down your way.
Don is the winner! Here is the deal. We had to work at the Grand Canyon yesterday. These buck were with a bunch of elk in the parking lot! When you hike in the canyon these monsters get on the trail and you have to move them out of the way. Once in a blue moon one will wonder out of the park then you see them in some magazine. At Indian Gardens(7 m.below the rim) and Phantom Ranch(very bottom of the ditch)they feed with the horses and mules. Now the Bull elk in the park will just make you cry! One is named Dennis since he gets into everything. Last time I seen him he had a soccer net in his rack. Still this is one cool buck.
Man, they sure grow them big up there!
I wish we could still buy Kaibab archery tags over the counter.
The mulies down here aren't doin' so good the last couple of years. I can't seem to find any good bucks where I used to see at least a few nice bucks. Nothing like you guys have up there though!
Thanks for the cool pics Highcountry!
Don
That would certainly be a *nice* pair of sheds to pick up Highcountry!
What do you think? Will you get to lay your hands on those babies?
Keep the wind in your face, Shinken
My buddies that work in the park said they will keep an eye out for them. Would be a super bow rack(no pun intended). I only go up about once a month. Little more in the off season/winter. When I am hiking, it is more of a beline to get to the river and throw some flies in the water. If you guys get a chance, now is a great time to see the canyon and the critters. No crowds at all during the week so the animals are not so buggered. Rare when you get to see an animal in this class alive and up close. The canyon is always a treat to see, never get tired of a visit. And there are bucks bigger than this one!!
Wow, those are some nice deer! Saw a couple like that last time I was in the park. As for the sheds, isn't it illegal to pick up sheds in a National Park?
The only thing you can take out of the park is trout. They are non-native and the Feds want them ALL out of the canyon. That is another issue I really do not want my blood pressure up about. These big boys wonder out and hang behind Tusayan, watch the airplanes take off. They move over there when the crowds start to show up.
That is a great muley, would love to get a crack at one like that.
In the first picture, you can see a lot of "trash" on the big guy, then I can't make it out on the next two. Are they photos of two different deer????????
I'd be happy with any of the deer, even the "little" ones in the first photo.
Poor thread title.. Should be something like "A nice mulie and OMG!!!"
wow wow wow - even the little one is nice :archer:
Stop that , ya just made me curse , Holly ....... Nice isn't the word for it.
Did anyone notice how unlucky that great big mulie is with that bulsie behind his leg,,LOL,,Nice deer
