Here it is tradgangers. I am pretty happy with my first take down. The limbs are my own design and include reverse tapers at the tips for the last four inches.
The riser woods are bocote with stripes of osage-cocobolo-osage. The limbs are maple with cocobolo wedges under .050" black glass. Tips have phenolic-osage-cocbolo.
The specs are 66" NTN, 53# at 28". The mass weight is 2lb. 3oz. It shoots pretty fast and is very quiet with DesertDude's FF string. It is a bit too heavy for my 30" draw. Dang, now I have to make another one.
I made the form in the fire hose clamp style and can say that I like it a lot better than the C-clamp form of my one-piece so now I will convert that one.

Well today I had a chance to shoot this new bow of Kevin's,And I have to tell you it shoots as good as it looks.
It shot right where I looked, had no hand shock at all,and shot real fast. It was to rainy to shoot it threw the chorno, but I shot it just like I was shooting my Morrison 54# 64" carbon foam limbs and it hit right there at 30 yards.
Watch out in the future with this bowyer, he's on top of the game.
ttt
Larry is right on. This bow is a terrific shooter. Kevin is an engineer by trade and to say he is exacting in his detail work is an understatement. I've already been angling for a spot on the Gerlock Bows Prostaff... :D
Hey Beach
Good shooting with you yesterday, you shot well my freind, the weather was alot of fun as well havn't heard from Kevin about any offers on being a staff shooter yet. He's proably building another bow.
Yeah, how about that, it DOES rain in southern California.
Glad to hear that the bow Cakeman made shoots as well as it looks. I'm looking forward to shooting it as soon as I recover from this heart atack.......
Mark, I am so glade you are doing better.
Hope to see you soon my friend
