This one was an order. The new owner picked it up today, but before he could run off with it I took some pictures. You may notice the wrist angle is not the typical angle. That is because he has a metal plate in his wrist and can not bend it.Some of you may recoginise this one from Kalamazoo. We also played around a bit,and shot it through the cronograph if anyone is intersted.

Sweet looking bow.
Bill:
That is a really beautiful bow that you built.
What did it cronograph?
Man, I really like the curves on those limbs! A beautiful bow! Lots of details there that really make it special. Very neat! Matt
The pics don't do it justice. Saw it in person at Kzoo and is about the best looking bow I've ever seen. Good job Bill.
Whew! What a bow! I love my SXT as youy know Bill.
That one is CRAZY! You should be proud.
The new owner did the shooting, and I watched the end of the shaft to see that he was consistant. The bow is 42#@28", Steve has a 28"drawlength shooting a 3 under tab.His arrow weighed 342grains for 8 grains per pound, and shot 193fps-195fps.I did not post this originaly because I thought guys would think I was BSin them.
Bill
I don't believe you. Better build me an SXT for further testing. :bigsmyl:
That is a sweet looking bow!
WOW that is a looker Bill  and best of all the shelve is on the right side of the bow :notworthy:
I should mention those numbers were with an 8 strand dynaflight 97 string with no silencers.Just the way he will shoot targets this summer.
Bill
Very, very nice. Looks like one heck of a design...
That is one awesome looking bow. Very nice work!
That is a sweet looking bow!
I also had a chance to see this bow at kzoo and as great as the pictures are they don't do justice as to how nice this bow really is. Not only is Bill a great bowyer, but he and his wife are great people. I enjoyed talking to you at the show BILL. Rodney P.S. I'll be down to see you for my next trad. bow
Wooooow, fantastic looking bow plus good speed!

Beautiful bow. Awesome numbers!
Beautiful bow, genuine work of art. :clapper:
WOWWWW! Too nice Bill. :notworthy:
As much as I like my other 2 Zippers the SXT just blew me away. Bill and Tracy have set the bar even higher for their customer expectations. I have one on order now and will post pics and numbers sometime in May.
Very cool,A buddy ordered one from you also. That's a pretty bow
You are all to kind.Bows like that are a double edge sward.I hate to see them go, because they are so pretty, but Im glad to see them go, because I have so much time in them, and Im finaly finished.
Hey M.P. how you shooting your new toy?
Izzy I should know what weight your limbs are tomorrow or thursday at the latest.
Owlbait Tracy says she will just have to get a bigger club to make me work harder.
I can send her a nice Maple stave for that Bill.
I dont think she needs ANY help!!Thank you just the same.
I call her when you're in the shop tomorrow. :biglaugh:
NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! :banghead:
Just when I thought I was safe and couldn't possibly talk myself into another zipper then this thread came up.
I may have to use some type of parential lock system to prevent myself from looking at your website. It would save my bank account.
Great looking bow, Bill!
This is falls under the CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT LAWS.
Great looking bow. 193fps-195fps isn't at all hard to believe at 8 gpp.

I'm with you on this one Chris. I have mine all designed up in my head and have my finger on the "send" button to email it to Bill...
zippers were one of the bows I looked at recently. I REALLY like the way the riser feels in my hand. I wish they made the riser just like the SXT except with the limbs mounted on the belly. For some reason I shoot these style bows just a little better. You know like Black widow or Habu, etc. Problem is there are not many bowyers who use this design, so you are pretty limited in choices if this is the style riser you like.
Jon,
You mean like this?

:D
OHH PURDY!!
Beach bow hunter, YEA! Who makes that bow? I do have to say though, the Zipper in this thread is about the most beautiful looking bow I have ever seen. Can't stop looking at it.
Try one Jon, you'll like it.
I've heard he is not making bows right now but I'll send the info.
However, make no mistake I am a card-carrying Zipper fan and my trusty Extreme has been with me on every important hunt and probably always will. Take V13's advice..the Standard (forward riser) would probably suit your style better.
Bill,
You are making my wait even harder!! :banghead: :banghead: What a beautiful bow. I can't wait to get my SXT.
Bill
jwilliam Patience my friend, it will be worth it in the end.
jonsimoneau I have a hard enough time keeping the voices in my head contained without you and norber adding to their shouting. :biglaugh:
