Hello to everyone. The name is Jeff or threefinger. Just wanted to introduce myself. I am pretty new at Traditional Archery. I have a older Shakespear Wambaw 58in 50#. Just bought it 2 months ago. I love shooting it. I am a converted compound shooter. Than will not go back. Once you go traditional you don't go back. Well thats about all I have. I will get some pics up soon. Thanks

Welcome Jeff. Great site, great people and great advise!
Welcome aboard. You can really learn a lot about all aspects of trad bowhunting from some of the contributors. And if you are not so good at telling tall tales yet, we got something for that, too. You will have fun here.
Thanks for the warm welcome. I am thinking about up grading to a newer bow. Not sure what to go with. I really enjoy shooting my Shakspear Recurve. Just dont know if I want to go with another recurve or a long bow. I really like the looks of the Whisperstick Recurves. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jeff

Howdy Three Finger!
On the bow choice I think you will get more opinions than you can handle! I suggest you try a bunch and you will begin to get a feel as to what you like (different styles and grips, lengths) etc. It's all part of the fun. That being said, the best recurve is clearly a Border Black Douglas Swift! :biglaugh:
